Featuring a high quality slim, lightweight matt black carbon fibre rod blank with a progressive casting action. This rod action ensures you have the power in the butt section of the rod to cast the desired distance with frightening accuracy, but still have enough flexibility in the tip section of the carp rod to prevent hook pulls from carp at the landing net.
This range of carp rods, not only perform great but look the part on the bank, utilising a black DPS reel seat, slimline high quality cork handle and black anodised laser etched butt cap with the Wychwood logo.
For that extra confidence when casting, there are strong and durable double leg black SIC guides features throughout the rod, with an anti-frap tip reducing the chance of a tangle on the cast. 50mm butt rings feature on all 12ft rods allowing you to cast that extra distance compared to models with 40mm butt rings.
The rod blank features a line friendly clip, which is perfect for making sure that the angle between your bite alarms and rod is suitable for the carp fishing situation you need. Such as fishing tight lines at distance or slack lines when stalking in the margins.
