Olivon PC-3 ED 8×34 Binoculars

8×34 ED – ED glass means Extra-low dispersion glass, In high contrast situations, this characteristic of glass controls chromatic aberration, which is colour fringing around edges.

8×56 – The ultimate low light binocular for use at dawn and dusk, it is not a “night vision” binocular as some people will misleadingly describe this specification. The combination of 8x magnification and 56 mm objective lens gives a exit pupil of 7 mm, this corresponds to the eye’s maximum pupil opening and therefore these binoculars give maximum brightness. It’s still an open bridge design and therefore relatively light compared to other 8×56 designs. It is used mainly for low light natureviewing and is ideal for star gazing, particularly when tripod mounted, however, some will find it a little large for general use.
